When is rent due each month?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. We do offer a 5-day grace period with no late penalties.
What is Trinity at The Hill known for?
Spacious 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments and townhomes with features like wood-style flooring, granite countertops, large closets, and private patios/balconies. Community amenities such as a fitness center, swimming pool, pickleball courts, hammock areas, picnic spaces, and pet-friendly outdoor areas. Pet-friendly living and convenient location near Chapel Hill, UNC, Weaver Street Market, and outdoor trails.
How far is Trinity at The Hill away from University of Chapel Hill?
It’s about 1.7–2.0 miles from UNC’s campus by car, depending on the route measured.
≈ 3–5 min drive to central campus.
≈ 5–8 min bike ride.
≈ 25–30 min walk (varies by exact starting point).
How do I pay rent?
You can pay rent through the dedicated payment portal, Domuso App, by check, or cashier’s check/money order. Contact the leasing office for help setting up online payments.
Are utilities included in the rent?
Utilities are not included in the monthly rent. Residents must set up and pay for their own electric. The water/sewer account is billed back through a third party, Conservice, based on usage. Internet/cable services are offered in our bundle package.
How do I set up my utilities?
Once your lease is signed, you’ll be given instructions on which utility providers service the community. You can then contact them directly to establish accounts before your move-in date.
Do the apartments have walk-in closets?
Yes — many floor plans include spacious walk-in closets in bedrooms for extra storage and convenience.
Do units have in-unit laundry?
All of our 1BDs include washers and dryers in the unit. 2BDs and 3BDs have hookups so that you can rent or bring your own.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, the community is pet friendly. Pet policies, fees, and limits (such as number of pets, weight restrictions, breed restrictions, and pet rent) are outlined in your lease or pet addendum. There is a one-time non-refundable pet fee and monthly pet rent charges.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available for residents on a first come first served basis; no decals are required.
What amenities can I enjoy on-site?
Resident amenities include features like a fitness center, swimming pool, pickleball court, dog park, outdoor grills, and more community spaces to relax and socialize.
How long are the lease terms?
Lease terms typically range from 12 to 15 months, depending on your needs and availability. Short term leasing is also available upon request/availability.
What is required to apply for an apartment?
To apply, you’ll complete an online application and pay the application fee. Applicants are typically required to provide a valid photo ID, proof of income, rental history, and consent to a background and credit screening.
What is the security deposit and are there any upfront fees?
Security deposits vary based on screening results. Additional upfront costs may include an administrative fee, first month’s rent, and any applicable pet fees. The security deposit can range from $400 to one month’s rent. In addition, we offer The Guarantors as deposit alternative options.
Is renter’s insurance required?
Yes, renter’s insurance is required before move-in. This policy protects your personal belongings and provides liability coverage. Proof of insurance must be submitted prior to receiving keys.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
Residents can submit maintenance requests through the online resident portal, call and report to the leasing office, or email the leasing office. Emergency maintenance is available after hours for urgent issues such as water leaks or HVAC failures.
